Wise crash was founded in late 2003 by Debby and Jerry Keys, Isa Troeger and Melly Joerke. A short time after that Joe Lindner joined as the Bands' bassist. After recording a demo CD and the "Sensible Noise Pollution" EP as well as performing some shows, the rapper and shouter Xander Ressel joined the band and they continued touring until July 2005 when Isa went to Australia for half a year. In order not to waste time wise crash borrowed a drummer and produced their video for "Finally". After the video was finished Joe left the band to go back to school and Xander took his part on playing the bass. In May 2006 the band went to the studio to start recording their first album. In that process Isa and Xander also left the Band what paused the touring and recording process. Searching for a new drummer and bassist Joe Mayr entered the band and for the bassists' job Ulli Wenzel joined for two shows. Still searching for a new bassist the band continued working on their CD in January 2007 and in August they were complete again when they found Mike Ryan. The final recording and mixing sessions followed as well as the performing of some shows. In May 2008, two years after starting the recordings, their debut "To Whom It May Concern" was finally released. In this month Melly also decided to leave the band, since it was too difficult to handle family, work, and wise crash at the same time.
